sweaty.
there’s a lot that I could talk about. I almost would rather not. I would like to keep some things for myself on the personal side.
for future me, there’s always your journal to go through.
it’s been a heavy couple of weeks though. I’m very thankful for the support I have.
I’ll keep reading as many books as I can.
I’ll keep setting time aside to write.
lots of moving parts and it feels like the pieces are about to settle for a moment so that I can collect myself and really take off.
I like Hemingway a lot. his books are easy to read. the language is simple. you can just keep on reading.
one of things that I enjoy about his books are the way the main character:
1) speaks of his body (how the body reacts to the commands of the mind)
2) how the characters go through their own mental processes
I’m reading The Old Man and the Sea right now which apparently everyone except me has read, but I am enjoying it.
‘ “I told the boy I was a strange old man,” he said.
“Now is when I must prove it.”
The thousand times that he had proved it meant nothing. Now he was proving it again. Each time was a new time and he never thought about he past when he was doing it.'
since I’ve read this passage, I think about it a lot. it’s paradoxical to confidence, but I understand what he means when he says this. I gotta prove it every single time.
build your confidence, stack your wins, get your hands dirty and get a little sweaty.
from the chateau.

all praise is due to the most high.
