the white rabbit.
I remain a student of the game. I know that my craft has so much further to go and so I keep taking 1on1s with people who have been successful in my business.
I’ve gotten a lot of valuable insights and ideas to play with to help me along my journey.
one of the more recent 1on1s I’ve had just went over mentality in the field. I think that the person that I was speaking with has very specific and detailed goals for his life and so it’s been very helpful to see what having such clear intention can do for you in life.
one thing that we talked about was about this idea of a white rabbit.
I’m not too sure if greyhound racing is still a thing, I suppose it is somewhere I’ve just never seen it or heard about it in my life, but the story goes is that to keep the dogs running in the same direction, organizers would also release a white rabbit ahead of the pack to have the dogs follow and chase after it. without the white rabbit, the dogs wouldn’t have a clear goal or direction and they might lose their way around the track towards the finish line.
in today’s day, I saw a video of some greyhound racing on YouTube and noticed they have since replaced the live rabbit with a machine whirling around the track. it appears to serve the same purpose of getting all of the dawgs to chase and follow it around the course to their goals.
this is the goal. to be running so hard that my dawgs follow me around that course. doing what I can to raise the level for everyone else. it’s not always on, but I think more intentionality, more desire, and less fear it’s so very possible.
be the white rabbit for those you care about. trailblaze and show what can be done at a high level.
