yellow.
first thing that I wanted to say was that One Battle After Another is probably my favorite movie of the year. I know I’m prone to recency bias, but maybe of the last couple years.
planning out the motion for this week and executing took a lot out of me this week, so I think we’re just going to stick to just some sporadic thoughts.
there is still so much further to push these motion graphics.
I find myself in a position that had always kind of terrified me; being 25 and listening to Radiohead and Coldplay. it brings me no joy to report that they were at the top for a reason. Parachutes is simply too good.
with some more searching, I find myself ready to take another leap at the end of this week. I am not sure how the cards will fall, but I know that I cannot sit here forever hoping for things to change. with each step though, I gain a bit more confidence.
I witnessed a co-worker get fired today and that was tough to watch.
I’m running again.
I’ve been listening to a lot of Elton John recently and I wish that I got to see him on his farewell tour.
speaking on that, the Bennie and the Jets music video is pretty solid and has some of the same themes that I would have anticipated/planned/directed for.
maybe when I have more I time, I would like to direct an alternate music video for like an anniversary edition. or just my edition I guess.
October is just about upon us. Last quarter of the year. how will you stack up against your goals that you set?
I mean, I’ve known this, but preparation is so vital. having a foundation is so vital.
planning on releasing a new video on youtube. very minimal editing, it would just be the BTS of the making of the motion design for this week. recording myself really helped me stick to it, so maybe I’ll try doing this some more.
look up, stand tall, and let God measure you.
action / everything.
all praise is due to the most high.
