‘just start.’ update:
last week fell through, so we must start the count - down over. the pod is still not up yet.
the pod is on its way up though, with a new focus on this episode.
since I was not able to get a guest for the most recent pod, I tried doing another solopod, but it did not reach my standards, so I scrapped it and I’ve been working on recording a new version and it WILL be up by Friday.
I got some advice that I can’t believe I didn’t think about, and I move on it.
learned: speak about your ideas and be willing to hear people out. especially if the people you are talking to care.
speaking about ideas and plans has never really been something I’ve been comfortable doing with people in real life, but I’m really starting to learn that it’s vital to keeping people around and having them be involved in your life. one must not forget that the most important part of this, though, is the follow - through.
I’m very used to shrinking away from this, but it hasn’t yielded the results that I wanted, so it is time for another change!
having people keeping me accountable is stressful, but it makes me do what I say and at the end of the day, that’s really the important part, so thank you everyone that’s applied the pressure along the way.
reminder to myself that: this really needs to go. I need to apply everything I have and leave nothing left because I have set myself a time limit on some of these goals, and if the time expires, I must move on. with the help of God and those that I love, I will figure this out.
take care of yourself. go see the sun. go for a walk. call up those you care about, let them know that you’re thinking about them.
dedicate time to your craft.
